Divine Protect
Divine Protect is a gem effect in Xenoblade Chronicles and Future Connected. It adds a percentage chance that the user will not be affected by the Instant Death debuff.

Instant Death attacks are uncommon, but when they are present, being able to ignore them is quite useful indeed. Strictly speaking they should probably go on the tanks rather than the others, since they are the most likely to eat such an attack, but conversely it is probably worse to suddenly lose a support character and so potentially worth giving it to them instead.

Enemy drops[edit]
The strength of crystals and cylinders dropped by enemies is random within limits. The first attribute is usually from 20% to 30%, but crystals from bosses and unique monsters are stronger, and are from 80% to 90% instead. There is also a 25% chance to get a better crystal, which ranges from 32% to 40% normally, or 92% to 99% for bosses and uniques. If there is a second attribute, its possible range is equal to half the range of the first attribute (for example, if the first attribute's range is 20%-30%, the second's will be 10%-15%).

Ether deposits and gears[edit]
The strength of crystals and cylinders mined from deposits is random within limits. Each attribute is usually from 40% to 45%, but crystals from high-quality deposits are stronger, and are from 80% to 90% instead. There is also a 10% chance to get a better crystal, which ranges from 52% to 60% normally, or 92% to 99% for high-quality deposits.
