Hecht is a Gear piloted by Dominia in Xenogears.
Description[edit]
The Hecht is loaded with a large explosive bullet and is a vessel constructed for the purposes of invasion. Its deck is equipped with an attack Gear used for close quarter combat in enemy territory. The Gear is able to shoot out Aerods in order to defend the ship, requiring the pilot to have strong abilities. After arriving at its destination, the Gear is able to be separated from the ship and launch on its own.
Analysis[edit]
The Hecht is used as part of an attack that Gebler launches on Nortune with the intent of destroying the entire city in order to wipe out Fei. Dominia is personally in charge of the mission and pilots the Hecht, using the Gear attached to it. Fei and Rico fight back in an attempt to save the city and are able to defeat it.
