Heat Haze (陽炎 (かげろう), Heat Haze) is one of Dunban's aura Battle Arts in Xenoblade Chronicles. It removes all his permanent aggro (but not temporary aggro), blocks new aggro generation, and guarantees critical hits for all attacks.

Overview

A lot of crits means a lot of damage and a lot of party gauge; Dunban is likely to fill a bar by himself over the aura's duration, and it lasts quite a while (especially at higher levels). It also makes any skills based on landing crits very powerful. It's overall a very good aura for when Dunban is focused on attacking; if Dunban is set up to be a tank, he shouldn't be using it at all.

AI Dunban will only use Heat Haze if he gains the aggro and there is another tank in the party (specifically, either Reyn or Seven).
