Hero's Valour is the fifth skill in Dunban's Bravery skill branch. It provides a 75% chance that his max HP will go up by 20% when battle starts, which lasts for 40 seconds. His current HP will not increase to match.
Overview[edit]
Since this skill triggering means Dunban will no longer be at max HP, it has anti-synergy with skills like Invincible Hero earlier on the same branch. It also creates a hole that healers may feel obligated to fill before the battle really gets underway, which can be an unecessary drain on resources, especially if the extra HP is lost for nothing when the effect ends. It is best used when a later-game Dunban has methods of healing himself (such as his Critical Drain skill). It's super cheap to link to, but a terrible shape that half the cast can't even get from Dunban - and of them, Riki will be hitting the HP cap without it, so it isn't even worth it on him. Melia and Seven would both see use out of it, but it requires high affinity.
