Aconail is an NPC in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. He can be found during the day and the evening in Hardhaigh Palace, Empire of Mor Ardain.

- Aconail is an Ardainian researcher, researching Titan weapons.
- He is researching ways to enhance flying type Titans with his colleagues.
- He does not seem to have much ethics as he wishes Roderich had asked him to research the Judician Titan weapon.

Aconail
The Titan weapons Mor Ardain possesses are necessary to defend ourselves against the Urayan threat.
The four-legged Titan weapon just over there, known as Archelon, was completed by my great predecessor.
We created one called Cetus just recently, as well.
We researchers work tirelessly day and night to develop these creations.
Right now, we're trying to enhance the capabilities of the flying type.

Judicium may have fallen long ago, but their technological prowess was greater than Mor Ardain's today!

Someone remotely controlled the Ardainian Titan itself!
I've never seen any technology like it!
How in the world do you think they did it?
I wish I had even a fraction of that technology. It would make controlling Titan weapons so much easier!
It's too late for it now, but perhaps we should have tried storming into Indol with Cetus!
