Where We Used To Be is Disc 2, Track 4 on the Xenoblade2 Original Soundtrack, Track 13 on the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Sound Selection, and Disc 7, Track 4 on the Xenoblade Chronicles Original Soundtrack Trinity Box. It is an arrangement of Elysium, in the Blue Sky for solo piano.
It plays on the title screen of Xenoblade Chronicles 2, as well as in the following cutscenes:

- Nia and Rex meet one another on the C.S.E.V. Maelstrom.
- Rex convinces Nia to stay with the party after her rescue in Gormott.
- Vandham explains the death and rebirth of Blades after the party kills the Elder Arachno.
- Cole reveals himself as a Flesh Eater.
- Rex tells his dead parents about Pyra.
- Zeke asks Rex about his Aegis-related preferences, and explains a bit about his past.

この曲は「楽園」のモチーフを使いながらレックスとホムラをイメージして作った曲です。２人の想いや願い、これから起きようとしている未来への不安などをピアノソロで表現してみました。大切なイベントでも流れますが、皆さんが一番初めに耳にするのはタイトル画面だと思います。『ゼノブレイド２』はレックスとホムラの物語であり、この曲は２人のテーマ曲と言えるため、タイトル画面でも流れています。
