Thorben is an Ardainian man on a business trip to Indol.
He is not very religious but still goes to pray to the Indoline Sanctum in hope of seeing Fan la Norne, who he is a big fan of.

I've finished selling all the goods I brought from Mor Ardain, so I'm off to the Sanctum for a spot of prayer.

No, I'm not particularly religious or anything. I just want to get a glimpse of Lady Fan, Goddess of the Praetorium!
There are Urayans in this city too, but when I gaze at Lady Fan, all that political unrest seems so insignificant.
