Strength (XC2)
- For other articles titled "Strength", see Strength (disambiguation).
- Not to be confused with Strength (Blade).
Strength is a stat in Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Torna ~ The Golden Country. It affects the amount of damage a party member or enemy deals with physical attacks in combat. It is generally a property of Drivers and enemies.
Party member strength can be increased by levelling up, equipping accessories that increase strength, using Blades that passively increase strength, or unlocking Driver Skills that increase strength. Enemy strength can be modified by changing the difficulty settings (the Enemy Attack Power setting in Custom difficulty). Many enemies also increase their strength upon enraging.
In the case of Drivers, the Driver's strength is added to the auto-attack stat of their Blade before being multiplied onto the rest of the damage formula; therefore, if the auto-attack stat significantly exceeds the strength (as is common in lategame and postgame), boosting strength is less effective than most other factors in terms of final damage numbers. In the case of non-Drivers (including most enemies), the strength stat functions as an independent multiplier instead. See Damage (XC2)#Damage formula for details.
