- This article is about the boss in Xenosaga Episode I. For the boss in Xenosaga I & II, see Sophie Peithos (XS1&2).
Sophie Peithos is the final boss of Xenosaga Episode I - Der Wille zur Macht. It is a large Gnosis that is fused to the core of Proto Merkabah by Albedo. He unleashes it upon the party as he makes his escape. During the battle, it will occasionally summon Jaldabaoths and Ratatosks. After being defeated, Sophie Peithos overloads and self-destructs.

- This is the only instance where Battle doesn't play, being replaced by Last Battle.
