Flight (called Soaring on the Revival disc and Xenogears Vinyl - SHINKAKU -) is Disc 2, Track 9 on the Xenogears Original Soundtrack, Track 35 on the Xenogears Original Soundtrack Revival Disc -the first and the last-, and Track 3 of the B-Side of the first disc of Xenogears Vinyl - SHINKAKU -. The track is one of the tracks playable in the Nortune jukebox, under the option 'A Theme'.

The track was remixed along with Wings for the Xenogears 20th Anniversary Concert -The Beginning and the End- as Soaring - Wings. A vocal remix was made for CREID titled Spring Lullaby. Finally, A Gathering of Stars in the Night Sky is a more mellow version of this track.

It plays as the battle music against Achtzehn in Shevat (for both the Chu-Chu phase and the Seibzehn phase), as well as in the immediately prior and subsequent cutscenes. It also plays in Big Joe's shop room in Zeboim. Finally, it plays during the following cutscenes:

  • The Nisan Mausoleum rises up into the air after Bart turns the power on.
  • Maria uses Seibzehn to break through Solaris's gravity barrier.
  • Fei narrates the beginning of the search for the first of the two remaining Anima Relics.
  • The Elements' Gears fuse to form the G-Elements.
  • Fei narrates the beginning of the search for the last remaining Anima Relic.
  • Fei narrates the finding of the cave containing the last remaining Anima Relic.
  • Fei narrates the start of the attack on Merkava's cannon.
  • Fei flies into space to bring Elly back from Deus.

The track is available as DLC for the rhythm game Theatrhythm Final Fantasy Curtain Call for the 3DS.

Soaring - Orchestral Version - (called Soaring -Orchestral Version- on Xenogears Vinyl - SHINKAKU -) is a remix of Flight. It is Track 3 on the -MYTH- The Xenogears Orchestral Album CD and Track 2 on the A-side of the vinyl release, and was included as Track 3 of the B-Side of the second disc of Xenogears Vinyl - SHINKAKU -.
