Seraphita is a character of Xenogears. She is the leader of the Elements, representing the Fire element. She is often paired with Tolone.

Appearance and Personality

Seraphita has short pink hair and green eyes. A demi-human, she has large rabbit-like ears.

Despite being in the leadership position of the Elements, Seraphita has a very goofy and childlike personality. When she first appears with Tolone, she claims to be afraid of the dark, unintentionally reveals secrets to the party and makes numerous mistakes in describing enhanced parts of Tolone.

Story arc

Seraphita is a current day member of the Elements, a group of 4 powerful fighters working within Gebler. As a demi-human, she was set to be disposed of in the Soylent System, but was saved by Ramsus. The Elements were created to ignore Solaris social class and rather be based on strength. The Elements are close associates that report directly to Ramsus. Despite her goofy and childish demeanor, she is actually the leader of the Elements.

Seraphita first appears in the game when she and Tolone are loaned out to Bishop Stone as he investigates the Zeboim ruins found at the Ethos Dig Site. When the party discovers a nanomachine lab containing Emeralda, Seraphita and Tolone are assigned by Stone to fight the party and delay them while he escapes with Emeralda. Despite this, the two of them are defeated and the party members are able to catch up with Stone.

As the party seeks to destroy the Gates that are keeping Solaris hidden from the rest of the world, Seraphita and the other elements personally head out to stop them. Seraphita, accompanied by Tolone, heads to Fort Jasper, but is defeated twice by the party and is unable to prevent the destruction of the Gate. During these battles she pilots her personal Gear, Grandgrowl.

Seraphita next appears along with the other Elements at the First Anima Dungeon where she hopes to recover the Anima Relic recently obtained by the party. She and her colleagues are defeated, first in person and then in their combined Gear, G-Elements. When the party heads to Merkava, Seraphita and the other Elements are encountered along the way. This time they have no desire to fight the party, telling them that they are trying to help Ramsus who has been manipulated by Krelian and Miang. When the party is confronted by Ramsus in Merkava, Seraphita appears alongside the other Elements as Dominia pleads with Ramsus to not fight, saying he was used. Ramsus ignores what is said and attacks the party. Seraphita's final appearance is in the Snowfield Hideout. There, Citan, accompanied by the Elements is able to finally convince Ramsus that he isn't trash and that they are here for him.

Lore

Seraphita's name, similar to the other Elements, originates from the names of the highest order of Angels. Seraphim is in the highest hierarchy of angels along with Throne and Cherabim.
