Now that you've set up camp at the oasis for the night, help Manana make a scrumptious meal.

Riku and Manana is a quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It is received in Eagus Wilderness, in the Fornis Region, during the main story. As part of it, the party learns to cook Manana's Battle Soup, craft Gems, and perform Chain Attacks.

Quest objectives

1		Action
		Perform the specified action(s).
		Cook up a meal at the Lake Rezzento Camp.

Only Manana's Battle Soup can be made here, and it must be cooked with ingredients rather than Silver Nopon Coins. The ingredients for cooking it are obtained automatically at the start of the quest.

2		Gathering
		Collect the specified thing(s).
		Glaring Eyeball (1)

This objective entails fighting a Gyanna Aspar. After it uses Serpentine Blow, the phase ends and the tutorial for Chain Attacks plays.

3		Destination
		Head for the specified location(s).
		Return to the Lake Rezzento Camp.

4		Action
		Perform the specified action(s).
		Craft a gem at the Lake Rezzento Camp.

A Gemstone is automatically obtained as part of the cutscene. Only Ironclad I can be made here, and it must be made with materials rather than Gold Nopon Coins.

5		Action
		Perform the specified action(s).
		Equip the crafted gem.

Result

Cooking with Manana and gem crafting with Riku are going to come in very handy for your adventure. Don't neglect either.
