Proto Merkabah the final area in Xenosaga Episode I - Der Wille zur Macht. Reaching the core is the point of no return and the party will have to battle Albedo and Sophie Peithos back to back.
Geography[edit]
Proto Merkabah is a large factory swarming with autonomous Auto-Techs and Gnosis. The entrance features a cargo area and dock where several U-TIC ships are seen docked. The second room features a bridge puzzle where the party must raise and lower the bridge to reach the other side. The main area consists of stairwells on each side with serval rooms. The lower level's first section is a circular platform where Proto Dora ambushes the party. There are several rooms; one contains a starchart that maps the known galaxy with Lost Jerusalem missing. Another room is where MOMO was born. There is a cargo elevator that leads to the core, on the elevator, the party has to fight four sets of Gnosis before battling Albedo.
