Power Charge is a buff in Xenoblade Chronicles 3 and Future Redeemed. It increases the damage dealt by the affected character's next offensive Battle Art.
The damage is increased by 50% at base (this can be increased via effects such as Swelling Blessing). It is part of Multiplier group 2, meaning its damage increase is independent from most other damage increases (Raging Force and Element Genesis's bonuses being the main exceptions). This results in it being an exceptionally strong boost to damage in most circumstances.
Unlike most buffs, Power Charge does not expire until the affected character uses an offensive Battle Art (or is Incapacitated). This is extremely beneficial, allowing it to consistently be used in Chain Attacks, and allowing a character with Resonant Flag to continually provide Power Charge to the party indefinitely. It is recommended for such characters to only have non-offensive Arts equipped, to prevent the AI from using an offensive Art which consumes the Power Charge and prevents it from being passed again.
