Parasites is a Squad Mission in Xenoblade Chronicles X.

This mission is unlocked when the squad defeats 14 Visigels during BLADE Mission No. 17. Additionally, the mission A Sad End is unlocked when any Cervus' back appendage is broken.

The visigels in the second step of the mission only appear once their spawnpoint is approached. This spawnpoint is just south of the small noctilucent spheres and northwest of the pond. They respawn after being defeated so it is possible to just fight the same one multiple times.
