Story[edit]
History[edit]
Miltian Conflict[edit]
- Main article: Miltian Conflict
Miltia became the site of the infamous Miltian Conflict, which brought the Gnosis into the forefront of history. To stop it from spreading, Joachim Mizrahi decided to seal Miltia (and by extension the Zohar) from the U.M.N. by overloading the Song of Nephilim and dropping the planet into the Abyss. With Miltia sealed, the only way to undo it is through Mizrahi's Y-Data. After the Miltian Conflict, the survivors moved to Second Miltia, headed by Representative Helmer.
Episode I[edit]
A memory of Old Miltia is visited by the party when they Encephalon Dived into KOS-MOS's Subconscious Domain to proved their innocence after the U-TIC Organization framed them for the destruction of the Woglinde. There, the party learns their role within the universe by Nephilim.
Episode II[edit]
At the start of the game, in a sequence that takes place 14 years before the events of the game, Helmer has chaos and Canaan head down to Old Miltia in the E.S. Asher to help the U.R.T.V.s. After fighting their way through the streets, they encounter Jin Uzuki, who has obtained a disc that he believes will provide information on who is behind the conflict. They eventually encounter Margulis with whom they do battle. Afterwards, Jin heads off on his own.
After acquiring the necessary information from the Y-Data, Albedo Piazzolla opens the way to Old Miltia, prompting the Immigrant Fleet, Federation Fleet and Miltian Government make attempts to make it down to Old Miltia. The Immigrant Fleet arrives there first, but the party arrives shortly afterwards on the Elsa. The party travels through the ruins in their E.S.s and eventually comes across a crashed Ormus ship, needing to fight off Vanderkam and his Naglfar Cannons. After this the party travels further, eventually finding a path into Labyrinthos.
Miltia is later destroyed when the Ω System emerges from Old Miltia after Sergius XVII awakens Proto Ω.
Episode III[edit]
A memory of Miltia is visited through Shion's conciousness. After making their way through Dabyre Mine to the Elsa, Shion decides to head into the city area, with Allen following behind her. On the way they find a crashed U-TIC vehicle, and hiding in the bushes Shion watches as her father Suou Uzuki appears along with some U-TIC soldiers. After he departs, Shion and Allen steal the IDs and clothing of several deceased U-TIC employees and make their way into the city proper, eventually reaching the Acute Neurosis Treatment Facility. Later, during the Federation's attack on Miltia, the party makes its way through the streets of Miltia again, finding it to be a debree filled battlefield. The party is nearly hit by a piece of equipment from Asher, flying above them in the sky as piloted by chaos and Canaan. The party passes through streets of Miltia once again as they make their way back towards the Acute Neurosis Treatment Facility by way of the Forest.
