Old Church is an area in Xenosaga Episode III - Also Sprach Zarathustra. It also appears in Xenosaga Episode I via the Encephalon.

The Old Church is located within the suburbs of Dasgupta in Miltia. It is thought to have once been a church belonging to Ormus, but was abandoned by them during the time of the game.

The party encounters the church during their Dive into KOS-MOS's Encephalon. There they meet Febronia.
Episode III[edit]
The party visits the Old Church after heading through the Forest on Miltia, looking for help for the injured Virgil. Within the church they find Febronia, as well as younger versions of Shion and Kevin. Febronia volunteers to have her organs transplanted to Virgil in order to save his life, claiming she can regenerate by going to Labyrinthos. Jin performs the surgery. Young Shion ask the party members if they came from a ship that landed nearby, causing the party members to realize the Elsa is close by. They depart the Old Church, heading for Dabrye Mine. Shion and the others return later with young Shion after departing the Acute Neurosis Treatment Facility. Young Shion flees here during the Federation's invasion of Miltia. Realians, having been driven out of control by the Song of Nephilim make their way inside and Febronia sacrifices herself so Shion and Virgil can escape. The party members make their way back here and adult Shion gives Virgil the self-destruct code to the Realians. While she hopes for him to escape, he instead pushes her out of the church and uses it. The current Virgil then appears to the party as the Blue Testament and they must fight him. Afterwards the spirit of Febronia appears and convinces him to depart with her. The party then leaves through the Forest towards the Acute Neurosis Treatment Facility with young Shion.
