Milton (ミルト) is a supporting character in Torna ~ The Golden Country. He often accompanies Addam and Mythra.

Story arc

While Addam and Mythra are fighting against Lora and Jin, Milton is attacked by some monsters, but Haze saves him and reunites him with Addam. Milton runs towards Addam to hug him, showing their deep bond. Additionally, Milton worries asking if he's alright since he's been in a fight; Mythra mockingly says that Addam is perfectly fine since he's been with her the entire time, to which Milton replies that she relies too much on her Artifice. Right after that, the party make camp, where Milton and Mikhail become good friends. Milton is seen in the Aletta: Militia Garrison preparing the meal alongside Mikhail and telling Mythra she shouldn't make the food due to how bad of a chef she is.

Near Lett Bridge, the party is surprised by a Slithe Jagron, and when the monster is about to kill Milton and Mikhail, Minoth shows up and saves them. Right after the fight, Milton thanks Minoth and while the party is planning to spend the night in the Hyber Village, Milton bothers Mythra by touching her waist in a childish way. When Mythra gets angry, Milton bothers her even more by saying "The Aegis bested by a little kid". Although she seems to be upset, Mythra responds in a slightly childish way too, showing that although they mock and bother each other frequently, they still appreciate each other. Once the party arrives at Hyber Village, they take a group photo together, and right after that, Lora, Mikhail and Milton start talking and Milton is surprised to learn that Lora is 27, adding that he wouldn't have said older than 20.

During that night, Mythra sleepwalks into Milton's bed and doesn't take it too well; Milton and Addam end up with bruises. Upon arriving in Auresco, while the party holds a conference with the Tornan King, Mikhail and Milton stay seated on chairs far from the big table where everyone else is. When the party is going to depart to The Soaring Rostrum, Addam says that Mikhail and Milton must stay behind in Auresco for their security. At first, Milton gets upset, but ends up agreeing; he doesn't let the party leave however without making them promise that they'll kill Malos and return successfully.

While the party is fighting Malos, Milton and Mikhail are seen running in the streets of Auresco fleeing from Malos' Gargoyles and Milton is later seen shielding Mikhail from the blast of Malos's Siren. Finally, when Mythra defeats Malos and destroys the Tornan Titan, an Ardainian flagship rescues the people from Auresco. In there, Milton dies while Mikhail carries his dead body. When Mythra sees this, she transforms into Pyra out of regret and anguish.

Lore

• Around three years prior to Torna ~ The Golden Country, Milton's village was devastated by a massive flood. Addam was one of the few people that helped the village, leading to Milton accompanying Addam on his travels.
