The Land of Challenge is a DLC-exclusive area in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. It becomes accessible from Llyn Nyddwr Camp during Chapter 3 after accepting and completing the quest "Challenge Battles!", obtained via the Expansion Pass menu. From here, players can access both the Time Attack and Archsage's Gauntlet challenge modes of Challenge Battle Mode, the latter of which requires the quest "More Challenge Battles!" to be completed.

Like the equivalent area in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, this area disables usage of the map menu. However, unlike Xenoblade Chronicles 2, it is possible to save here. The area is also surrounded by invisible walls, making it impossible for the player to be incapacitated.
