Story arc[edit]

Klaus is a man who was mistakenly identified as Voyager. He is the only son of Irene Torres, who is associated with the Torres Foundation, an organization dealing with the Immigrant Fleet and spaceport industry on Abraxas. Having committed many misdemeanors and minor offenses, he was exiled from his family and the Foundation at 15. He would eventually form a relationship with the organization Descendants of Nestorius. Jan and his colleagues are provided an image of Klaus' room, showing needles in the room and ancient writing on the wall. Diving into a trap set up by Mikhail to try and catch Voyager, Jan and the others encounter Klaus on a rooftop. He quotes Revelations and the monster Egil appears behind him. After Egil is defeated, Jan and his colleagues try to arrest Jan who quotes further from Revelations then says Voyager wants the blood of angels. Believing he can go to a place where no one is rejected, he jumps off the roof to his death.

Jan is able to convince Sharon to help him and the others dive into Klaus' brain, even though he is dead. Inside they find Klaus with three men in an alleyway. Klaus is upset about the men breaking a deal they had and not permitting him access to meet a certain unnamed person. Jan and the others soon afterwards encounter some children who claim Klaus is tormenting them. They continue to search for and eventually find Klaus in a room by himself. Klaus recognizes Voyager as a man who claimed that he could give him peace and take away his emptiness. Klaus says he has found the promised land Voyager spoke of. He says that Voyager needs the blood of those from Abraxas to fulfil his goal. He quotes further from Revelations and speaks of Patriarch Julius, causing Jan to fear for his safety. Two more monsters called Loki appear behind Klaus and Klaus' consciousness starts to collapse after they are defeated.

Klaus is encountered by Jan and the others one final time as they are trying to logout of his brain. He speaks further of Voyager and how he helped him by handing over people addicted to endorphin drugs, whom Voyager claimed he could help through the Zohar. His consciousness continues to split and he becomes another form of Loki whom the party has to defeat.
