Variations[edit]

The version of the track used in the above instances (and in the Xenoblade Chronicles 2 Sound Selection) differs slightly from the version featured on the Xenoblade2 Original Soundtrack (and the version showcased before the game's release as 'Action Battle'). Specifically, the version used in the above has slightly different orchestral balancing, most noticeably including much more prominent strings and less prominent electric guitar at 0:39.

The version featured on the Xenoblade2 Original Soundtrack also plays in-game, when T-elos uses U-TENERITAS on the Indoline warrior monks during her Blade Quest Lingering Resentment.

A third variation of this track, which lasts much shorter and has a significantly more prominent drum line, plays in the following cutscenes:

Original text

Unofficial translation

Since this song is to be used in the climaxes of every chapter, I just wanted to make something that sounds cool. So when I first saw Jin’s fighting moves my reaction was like, “Cool!” “Quick!” and so I wanted to make the song shine just like that. The guitar that’s used is a seven-string guitar and that instrument's difficulty is relatively high. All the performers said, “It’s difficult!” haha! In the demo, there actually isn’t a riff with the horns but the atmosphere had more “metal meets orchestra” vibes to it.
