House Vandham is one of the City's Six Noble Houses, families made of the descendants of the Founders. Its current head is Monica Vandham, who is also the Elder of the City.

Plot

House Vandham is the spearhead of the fight against Moebius, organizing attacks outside the City to free the world from their grasp. They often work with House Ortiz and are opposed to House Doyle, the head of the conservative party. They have some allies within House Cassini, though Monica doesn't get on well with their leader.

Lore

• House Vandham can be divided into the main family, heir to the title, and branch families, made of all other descendants of the Founder. The main family is a member of the Senate, a committee made of the Six Houses that runs the City.
• The art of fist fighting is passed down House Vandham.
• The statue of the Founder of House Vandham, Matthew, can be found inside the Memorial Hall with the other Founders.
• The first heirs to House Vandham only came to the City several centuries after its founding, because Matthew left the City after its reestablishment.
• All descendants of House Vandham wear an eyepatch adorned with the House's pattern when adventuring outside the City. The emblem depicts the Ouroboros Knuckles.
• Ultimately, all members of House Vandham are descended from Noah and Mio by way of their son, Ghondor. Given that Mio is heavily implied to be the daughter of Rex and Nia, that would make all descendants of House Vandham descended from Rex and Nia by extension.

Trivia

• After the party defeats an enemy using a Chain Attack, Monica and Ghondor pound their fists together in imitation of the House Vandham crest if one of them is the active Hero.
