The Ethos H.Q. is an area in Xenogears. It is the headquarters of the Ethos organization.
Story[edit]
Fei is brought by the party to the Ethos Headquarters after being severely injured during a fight with Ramsus and the Haishao. The Etone Billy provides access to the medical facilities located in the basement. Later after visiting the Orphanage and Reaper Ship, the party returns here to find dead people everywhere. Billy initially fears that his father Jessie is behind this, but he and the party are soon confronted by various assassins. Traveling further below the Ethos Headquarters the party finds a computer that reveals the truth behind the Ethos organization, that it is a fake religion meant to control the masses on the surface and is really a subsidiary of Solaris. The Ethos leadership hoped to rebel against Solaris, but were found out, resulting in the massacre. Billy is met by Bishop Stone shortly afterwards who also confirms this. Stone is able to escape on the Gear Alkanshel and the party departs soon afterwards.
Later in the game it is revealed that beneath the Ethos Headquarters is one of the three Gates keeping Solaris hidden from the surface. By bouncing a beam off of the mirror on Babel Tower, the Gate, along with the Ethos Headquarters is destroyed.

The Ethos Headquarters is found at the southern tip of an island to the northwest of Babel Tower.
