The first Ether Slide built with Field Crafting

Ether Slides are elements of the overworld in Future Redeemed. They allow the party to traverse over roughly-horizontal gaps in both directions. They must be built using Field Crafting, and their construction contributes to a region's Field Crafting Affinity Goal.

Black Shards are used in the construction of Ether Slides; they amplify the ether sources in order to project the wires. They also use Photonium as a superconducting material in the ether amplifier, although not in as high a quantity as in Ether Lifts (and as such, the material is not required in their creation in gameplay).

List of Ether Slides[edit]

Between Riku's Workshop and the top of Tephra Hill, requiring the Trial Black Shard, two Wool Rocks, and two Ether Cylinders. These items are given as part of Chapter 3, and the slide must be constructed as part of a story objective. This allows the party to reach The Ragmos Desolation for the first time.
Between the Pioneer's Camp in Aurora Shelf and the Sealed Cave, requiring two Noise Bites, one Black Shard, and two Ether Cylinders. This must be constructed as part of Ether Lift Research.
From the southernmost platform to the west of and under Raguel Bridge to a platform just above Magwall Road, requiring two Monochromagnetite, one Black Shard, and two Ether Cylinders.
From the same southernmost platform to the west of and under Raguel Bridge to another platform to the east with an Ether Mast, requiring two Monochromagnetite, one Black Shard, and two Ether Cylinders.
From the top of the Ether Lift up from the Lakeside Grotto over to a high platform on the east side of Aurora Shelf. It is built using two Wool Rocks, one Black Shard, and two Ether Cylinders.
From the aforementioned high platform on the east side of Aurora Shelf to the Ravaged Village. It is built using two Noise Bites, one Black Shard, and two Ether Cylinders.
From the south of the Ravaged Village to a high platform on the northeast of Vermilion Woods. It is built using two Noise Bites, one Black Shard, and two Ether Cylinders.
From the aforementioned high Vermilion Woods platform over the Colony 5 Wreckage to a high platform at the south. It is built using two Flake Crystals, one Black Shard, and two Ether Cylinders.
From the top of the Expedition Elevator to the Ancient Rooftop Camp in the Black Mountains. It is built using two Lacquer Stones, one Black Shard, and two Ether Cylinders.
From the Mt. Nagul Viewing Deck to the Argan Cathedral Ruins in the Black Mountains. It is built using two Lacquer Stones, one Black Shard, and two Ether Cylinders.
From the last island before Prison Terrace to the Prison Terrace island in the Black Mountains. It is built using two Lacquer Stones, one Black Shard, and two Ether Cylinders.
