Ether Lift

A newly deployed Ether Lift

Ether Lifts are elements of the overworld in Future Redeemed. They allow the party to traverse great vertical gaps in both directions, similarly to ladders.

They generally require Black Crystals (to amplify the ether sources to project the wires) and Photonium (to stabilise the ether amplifier) to be constructed, the latter of which are acquired as part of the story in Chapter 4, and the former of which are found through exploration (see the item's page for sources).

No Ether Lifts can be constructed until after the tutorial lift from Tephra Cavern, Reshaped, even though the locations in which they can be built may be accessible; the overworld indication for field crafting will not appear.

List of Ether Lifts[edit]

From Tephra Cavern, Reshaped up to Oracle Spire. It requires two Monochromagnetite, the Trial Black Crystal, one Photonium, and two Ether Cylinders. These items are obtained as part of Chapter 4, and the lift must be constructed as part of a story objective. This allows the party to reach the upper levels of The Ragmos Desolation for the first time.
From the Oracle Spire, around the back and a floor below the exit of the previous Ether Lift, up to the Godreading Altar at its top. It requires two Monochromagnetite, one Black Crystal, one Photonium, and two Ether Cylinders.
From the Lakeside Grotto in Yesterdale up to an isolated island with an Ether Slide to Aurora Shelf. It requires two Wool Rocks, one Black Crystal, one Photonium, and two Ether Cylinders.
From just up the switchbacks above The Dragongate in the Black Mountains to a ledge just above with a Relic. It requires two Lacquer Stones, one Black Crystal, one Photonium, and two Ether Cylinders.
From just north of the Panorama Camp in Aurora Shelf down to the lower levels of Aurora Shelf with the Old Legre-Bhaja Battlefront. It requires two Emerald Snow, one Black Crystal, one Photonium, and two Ether Cylinders. This must be built to access the Aurora Shelf lower level.
From the eastern tip of the Town of Banerro Ruins ramparts to the outside of La Luz Temple below. It appears during Snow Man's Treasure, and must be constructed as part of the quest. It requires two Lacquer Stones, one Black Crystal, one Photonium, and two Ether Cylinders.
Up a rampart in the Argan Cathedral Ruins. It requires two Lacquer Stones, one Black Crystal, one Photonium, and two Ether Cylinders. It must be constructed and traversed to progress to a story destination in Chapter 4.
Up from the first level of Prison Island to the second. It requires two Lacquer Stones, one Black Crystal, one Photonium, and two Ether Cylinders. It must be constructed and traversed to progress to a story destination in Chapter 4.
Up from the Basverg Belfry to the last island before Prison Terrace. It requires two Lacquer Stones, one Black Crystal, one Photonium, and two Ether Cylinders. It must be constructed and traversed to progress to a story destination in Chapter 4.
