Dagas (クビラ) is a Rare Blade in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. He can be obtained randomly from Core Crystals.

Appearance and personality

Dagas is a tall man with ivory skin and black eyes with blue irises. He wears formal clothing with a red and white cape, golden armor with glowing blue plating on his arms and legs, and a lopsided crown that covers his left eye. His Core Crystal is ovular and encased in a golden frame in the shape of a crown.

Dagas is contemptuous and arrogant, viewing the other party members (including his own Driver) as his subordinates. He is convinced he is the ruler of a kingdom, despite having no memory of his past lives. He expects to be treated with reverence and does not take kindly to signs of disrespect.

As a party member

Dagas has two forms: his initial version, which he takes when awakened from a Core Crystal for the first time, and a more powerful version, which is unlocked upon engaging with the Arrogant Behemoth during his Blade Quest Lost Kingdom. The stronger version has higher stats, more Aux Core slots, stronger Specials and Battle Skills, and more Field Skills. This change also resets his Affinity Chart and hides his preferred Pouch Items again, even though his preferences do not change.

Dagas can be found at a random location in Garfont Village after Rex takes over the Merc Group, provided he is not equipped to his Driver or sent on a Merc Mission. The specific locations he may be found at are listed here.
