Consul G is an antagonist in Xenoblade Chronicles 3. He is a member of the Consuls and is in charge of Colony Gamma.

Appearance and personality

As with all Consuls, G wears the red armor and black cape. G wears a large helmet with a spade shaped ornament surrounding it, and wide circled eyesockets. In his Moebius form, G takes the form of a purple large muscular demonic humanoid with a ring around his waist and an infinity symbol in the center.

Not much of G's personality is shown, but he appears to be a calm mannered individual.

Story Arc

Consul G first appears during Teach's hero quest Going Beyond Power, where he informs Teach of Mio, Taion and Sena's betrayal and tells him Ouroboros have the power to destroy the world. Following that, Teach decides to eliminate the party himself and leads them outside of Colony Gamma, away from the eyes of the Colony Gamma soldiers out of respect for Mio, Taion and Sena. However, after confronting them, he judges them not deserving of death, believing they aren't traitors and won't let the power of Ouroboros destroy the world. G reveals himself to the party, refuting Teach's conclusion. The disagreement between Teach and G persists, and G decides to deal with Ouroboros himself with the power of Moebius. He is defeated by Teach and the party.

During Teach's ascension quest Shadow of Enmity, it is revealed that G knew of Teach's past and gave him his current name and role as an educator, binding him to an oath of silence about his past. "To impart wisdom to those who will succeed us. To teach them of strength, and the tenets of battle. That this humble wish should spark, we pledge never to divulge the secrets of the past." Such is the oath Teach and G shared. Despite G's death, Teach stays true to this oath, refusing to talk about his past to the party.
