Alexei Tsiolkovskyi is a supporting character in Xenosaga: Pied Piper. He leads the anti-U.M.N. organization Veritas Liberabit Vos.

Story arc[edit]
Melisse comes to believe that contacting Veritas will assist her and the others in their investigation of Voyager. Through the information provided by Veritas it is determined that the Descendants of Nestorius is a front organization for Dmitri Yuriev. After Jan and his colleagues are arrested and escape, with their official investigation shut down, they head to the Veritas Hideout and meet Alexei. Alexei says he could use people like them on his side. He allows them to remain at the hideout until things cool down. Alexei tells them about Yuriev being able to put a lot of pressure on the sixth division of the Federation Police as well as the fact that Sergius XIV will be leading the upcoming Pilgrimage Meeting. He also tells them what he knows about Voyager, whom he calls the Net Preacher and says there have been a lot of copycat crimes. Later, Alexei provides a holomail to Jan and the others which is revealed to be coming from Erich/Voyager himself. After Jan's death, Alexei takes in Melisse as a member of the organization, until she splits off to form her own organization, Scientia.

Leader of the anti-U.M.N. organization V.L.V. and an archetypical hot-blooded male, easily moved my emotion. He exhibits a preternatural genius for engineering.
The respect he commands from organization members stems from the decisiveness he exhibits through his strike force.
