Alex (アレックス) is a guest character in Xenosaga I & II. He briefly joins Shion and KOS-MOS early in the game after Virgil orders him to do so in the Encephalon Town Area northwest of the starting position. He can be controlled on the field, but acts on his own during battles. He can earn EXP, but cannot level up and always remains at level 1. He leaves the party after the battle against Goblin.

アレックス

星団連邦軍第一一七海兵師団旗旗艦・巡洋艦ヴォークリンデに配備の508型戦闘用レアリエンの改良型。

ヴェクター・インダストリー装の男性型レアリエンで、軍用としてもっとも普及しているタイプである。

エンセフェロンにおけるKOS-MOSの評価試験に投入されたことでシオンと知己の関係となった。

アレックスという名は、その際にシオンからつけられた愛称である。

民間用レアリエンは、所有者によって愛称をつけられる例も多い。

しかし、軍用の場合では、レアリエンを消耗品として扱う軍組織の慣習から、あまり例がない。そのため、彼もまた、長い運用機関のほとんどを装造番号や登録番号で呼ばれてきた。
