Adenine (シキ) is a Rare Blade in Xenoblade Chronicles 2, who uses the Knuckle Claws and Wind element. She can be obtained randomly from Core Crystals.

Appearance and personality

Adenine has a reedy silhouette, short turquoise hair, teal eyes and holes in her stomach through which green light particles can be seen. She wears a white dress made of paper pages with belt straps and armoured arms. A large book is attached to a brace around her neck, which floats during combat. Adenine's Knuckle Claws resemble books.

Adenine is a scholar, primarily interested in learning and books. She generally speaks using a wider range of vocabulary than most. Additionally, she is easily excited by the prospect of acquiring new knowledge, particularly via learning about the past. However, this does not distract her from her duties as a Blade, and she will fight to the best of her ability when asked to do so. She likes to dance, especially to show her excitement.

Adenine can be found at a random location in Garfont Village after Rex takes over the Merc Group, provided she is not equipped to her Driver or sent on a Merc Mission. The specific locations she may be found at are listed here. After completing the quest Limits of Awareness, she will move to the Data Processing Room inside the World Tree and will no longer be found in Garfont Village.
