A Real Challenge is a Blade Quest in Xenoblade Chronicles 2. It can be received by going to Goldmouth Res. Dist. in Goldmouth, Argentum Trade Guild, after unlocking Zenobia's fifth Key Affinity reward, having dispatched her on the Merc Mission We Need To Talk!, and provided Nia, Tora, Mòrag, Zeke and Mythra are in the party. Completing it will unlock the fifth level of Zenobia's Superstrength Field Skill.

Quest objectives[edit]

Go to the library in Elmos Square, Tantal, to get more information about the legendary monster.
Complete all four objectives:
- Remove the seal of Earth from a land of verdant forest.
  - The Sealstone of Earth can be found in Melnath's Shoulder and requires clearing a Superstrength and Earth Mastery level 2 Field Skill check to be broken.
- Remove the seal of Fire from a sweltering waste.
  - The Sealstone of Fire can be found at the Abandoned Excavation and requires clearing a Fire Mastery and Superstrength level 4 Field Skill check to be broken.
- Remove the seal of Water from a watery land of eternal spring.
  - The Sealstone of Water can be found by jumping down from Crown of Sanctuary into a pool of water in Coralline Sanctum. To empty the pool of water, the coral-covered bedrock on its side must be broken by an Earth Mastery and Superstrength level 2 Field Skill check. Afterwards, the seal can be found at the center of the now empty pool and requires clearing a Water Mastery and Superstrength level 3 Field Skill check to be broken.
- Remove the seal of Wind from a tiny country blessed by sea breeze.
  - The Sealstone of Wind can be found by sliding down a sand slide starting at Lud Cloudway: Fonsett and jumping to the center of Godsford Isle then climbing up to the roof of the isle. The seal requires clearing a Superstrength and Wind Mastery level 7 Field Skill check to be broken.
Report to Zaman at Anastatia's, Tantal.
- Only during nighttime.
Complete all four objectives:
- Remove the seal of Light at Xataris Spring, Temperantia.
  - The Sealstone of Light requires clearing a Superstrength level 9 and Light Mastery level 3 Field Skill check to be broken.
- Remove the seal of Thunder at Xataris Spring, Temperantia.
  - The Sealstone of Thunder requires clearing a Superstrength and Electric Mastery level 9 Field Skill check to be broken.
- Remove the seal of Ice at Xataris Spring, Temperantia.
  - The Sealstone of Ice requires clearing a Superstrength and Ice Mastery level 9 Field Skill check to be broken.
- Remove the seal of Darkness at Xataris Spring, Temperantia.
  - The Sealstone of Darkness requires clearing a Superstrength and Dark Mastery level 9 Field Skill check to be broken.
At Xataris Spring, in Temperantia, defeat Thanatobeast Andraz.
- The fight ends when about 40% of its health is left.
Defeat Thanatobeast Andraz at Xataris Spring, Temperantia.
