A Gathering of Stars in the Night Sky (called Gather Up the Night Stars on the Revival disc, sometimes unofficially referred to as Gathering Stars in the Night Sky) is Disc 2, Track 7 on the Xenogears Original Soundtrack and track 33 on the Xenogears Original Soundtrack Revival Disc -the first and the last-. It is one of the tracks playable in the Nortune jukebox, under the option 'A Theme'. Flight (and, by extension, Spring Lullaby, Soaring - Orchestral Version -, and Soaring - Wings) are more energetic remixes of this track.

It plays as the music in the following cutscenes:

  • Maria explains Seibzehn's development to the party while performing maintenance when the party first enters Shevat.
  • Maria complains about not being able to leave Shevat to fight Solaris.
  • Zephyr and Jessie encourage Maria to use Seibzehn against Achtzehn, and Chu-Chu runs off to fight.
  • The party chews out Fei for being mean to Elly before they go off to Mahanon.
